This unit features built in protection to prevent damage to the original SEM CDI/HT coil.

• Where no battery is fitted we recommend you also fit an RG12 - AC regulator to prevent bulb failure.


• Normally supplied for 2-stroke KTM models.
• Check approximate resistance values as below with originals:
• Red to Black source coil 1300-1400ohms
• Green to Black pulse coil 160ohms
• New design gives a strong spark at very low RPM for easy starting and optimum reliability
• Standard output for lighting and battery charging (if fitted) is single phase with 2 yellow wires, this will suit most models.
• This unit also has the capability of being configured as a 3-phase hi-output system simply by connecting our high power regulator/rectifier RR17.
• Fitting instructions included where the original stator system has a single yellow cable for lighting or an additional blue cable (earth).
